January 21
Since we left the hospital with Hailey in November, Hailey's diabetes care has been in my hands.
It's been nerve wracking and intimidating.
It's been a challenge to go over to her school every two hours to care for her. The boys were not able to nap, they hated getting all bundled up every time they got involved in something, and it felt like I could do nothing but wait for the next trip to the school.
But today that all came to an end.
Today I passed the baton over to the school. They will be taking care of her diabetes during school hours.
I thought that would feel liberating, but instead it feels nerve wracking and intimidating.
I guess I should just get used to that feeling.
