365 days, 365 pictures. That's my goal. Am I a photographer? Spend 30 seconds looking around, and you will see clearly I am not. But I do love preserving these days I have been given so that I can one day look back and remember them, because my memory is just not efficient enough to count on. Trust me.

day 173

November 5

We have so many leaves; they are covering our grass, our patio, our swings, our garden and our children.  While raking today, we made this grisly discovery:

 Creepy.

day 172

November 4

Tonight, we celebrated some fabulous report cards with some fabulous frozen yogurt. Nothing says good job like large quantities of sugar.

day 171

November 3, 2010

Soaking up these last few days of fall. The kids keep wearing shorts and no shoes trying to get it all in before they can't anymore.

day 170

November 2, 2010

Isn't he menacing?  Try having this kid for an older brother. Poor Porter.

day 169

November 1, 2010

Hailey taught family night tonight. She did a marvelous job. Even with the half naked baby dancing on the table in front of her most of the time.

day 168

October 31

The afternoon was spent making creepy lego creations. The afternoon ended with our family room looking much like a volcanic explosion of legos.

day 167

October 30

Happy sort of Halloween, y'all...

For those of you who like that sort of thing.
For those of you who don't? Hang in there, it's almost over!!

day 166

October 29

Not only did my husband not have to work late tonight, but we went out! Like, on a date! And he only touched his phone once to turn it off!
Miracles have not ceased, people.

day 165

October 28

Today, I watched Harry Potter sing his heart out at his pre-school performance.

I loved it so much, I didn't even mind I have watched the exact same program with each child that has gone before him.

day 164

October 27

Dirty carrots:

Trying to believe that I actually eat something that starts out so unappetizing.

day 163

October 26

It was one of those days.

day 162

October 25

No it's not a good picture and Yes, it's blurry but it is Porter. This picture captures that 17 month old who has an obsession (and when I say obsession I mean a boil-your-bunny obsession) with growling. He was growling at me when I took this.  If he wasn't so human, I would eat him up.

Monday, October 25, 2010

day 161

October 24

Getting ready for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) Trunk or treat happening Monday.

day 160

October 23

I sent the kids outside yesterday to pick any and all tomatoes left before the cold hit us. Jonas came back with this:

Tomato nose? Tomato pimple? Tomatoes twin that didn't get any nourishment?

I don't think we will be eating this one....

day 159

October 22

Waiting patiently for her endocrinologist appointment,

Hailey tries to pretend she loves these visits.

Thursday, October 21, 2010

day 158

October 21

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas:

The American Girl Doll catalog came and Hailey spent the afternoon in the backyard with Kit studying and circling and creating the world's most expensive Christmas list.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

day 157

October 20

Reason 1,987,999 to love fall:

Multicolored trees.

Tuesday, October 19, 2010

day 156

October 19

The after school snack of champions.

Monday, October 18, 2010

day 155

October 18

I am no photographer or anything (you know that) and I don't even have a real camera (you know that too), but isn't this cool?

Sunday, October 17, 2010

day 154

October 17

You got to love those eyes.

Okay, so you don't have to, but you really should.
